Ford Bronco Window Reset Procedure is used to restore one-touch up/down function and anti-pinch system after battery disconnection, window motor replacement, or electrical reset.
To begin, turn ignition to ON position and ensure the window is fully clear with no obstruction. Close all doors properly so the system can learn correctly.
For the driver window, press the switch to fully lower the window, then keep holding it for 5 seconds after it reaches the bottom to store the lower limit. Next, pull the switch to fully raise the window without releasing it during movement, and once fully closed, continue holding the switch for another 5 seconds to set the upper limit and restore auto-up function. After that, test by tapping the switch to confirm one-touch operation is restored. If it fails, repeat the process.
For passenger and rear windows, repeat the same process individually: fully lower the window and hold for 3–5 seconds, then fully raise the window and hold for 3–5 seconds at the top position. Each door module must be calibrated separately because every window stores its own memory.
If the reset does not work, check for low battery voltage, blown fuses, or a faulty window regulator motor. In some cases, the system may require a second calibration cycle to fully restore function, especially after complete power loss.
This procedure helps restore automatic window control, limit position memory, and anti-pinch safety protection on Ford Bronco models.
